Paula MacDonald von der University of North Florida wird am Mittwoch, den 27. November 2013, von 15.30 bis 18.30 Uhr im SU 0.008 einen Workshop zum Demand-Control Schema abhalten. Der Workshop wird auf Englisch gehalten und von den Englischstudierenden simultan gedolmetscht.
Anbei eine kurze Beschreibung des Inhalts:
Demand control theory is about the demands of interpreting settings and the controls available to interpreters to manage difficult situations. The workshop will give an introduction to the theory and its applications in interpreter training, using practical examples to illustrate its pedagogical relevance. While the workshop will focus on interpreting, the theory's use in translation training generally will also be discussed.
