AMAZONIEN: WAS SOLL UNS BLEIBEN?

08. – 09. Mai 2014: Diskussionsveranstaltung „Amazonien: Was soll uns bleiben“, Ausstellungseröffnung „Kontraste in Grün-Schwarz“, Ausstellungsführungen und Filmvorführung „A Wild Idea“

 

Alicia Cahuiya, Indigene der Waorani, und Eduardo Pichilingue, Menschenrechtsexperte aus Ecuador, besuchen im Mai 2014 Österreich und Deutschland. Sie berichten über die akuten Bedrohungen Amazoniens in Diskussionsveranstaltungen. Christina Korak, Dissertantin am Institut für Translationswissenschaft in Graz, verbrachte 2012/13 mehrere Monate in den Dörfern der Waorani im Amazonasgebiet und initiierte nach ihrer Rückkehr nach Österreich das Projekt „Amazonien: Was soll uns bleiben?".
