On the English course, we critically explore and question the different Anglophone regions of the world, which is reflected both in the different geographical and cultural backgrounds of our teachers and especially in the course content, which takes us, for example, from the political division of Ireland to Creole language varieties in the Caribbean.
The far-reaching presence and importance of the English language in general not only highlights the cultural diversity of the English-speaking world, but also opens up exciting future prospects in a globalized world, especially for language mediators. In recent decades, English has established itself as the lingua franca in science, politics and business, to name just a few areas, and has thus crystallized as the key to the world.
