With us, language becomes a profession! And the professional fields are as diverse as our students and teachers and are constantly changing. That's why we not only translate and interpret, but also revise, post-edit, localize and transcreate.

The languages Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian are taught in the department in all their linguistic and cultural diversity and contrasted with the German language varieties. Our courses are aimed at bilingual native speakers, native speakers and students who are learning Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian as a foreign language.

Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian - three languages at once? Yes and no - and a huge opportunity at the same time! During their studies, students choose an active language in which they produce written and oral texts. They learn the other two languages passively, which also opens up new opportunities and perspectives.
